Nikon NX i Not Transferring All Photos From the Camera to the Computer

When using Nikon View NXi, to transfer photos from my camera to my computer, not all of the photos are always transferred.

Now, when transferring photos, I have to double check the CF card to be sure all the photos went through. In most cases, they haven't.

The photos that are left on the card are random in order. Some go, some don't. One photo may transfer, then one or two are skipped, and then another will properly transfer.

I have formatted and re-formatted without any changes.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry I can't answer your question since I ALWAYS COPY and dump my files from the memory card to my drive on the computer using a card reader. After making certain that all have been copied and saved, then only do I remove the card. I always work from a disk on the computer with files.
If you happened to open files from the card and do any modifications on the computer and then save them back on the card, then next time you try to view them either in camera or with View NX, these files don't seem to show.

Thanks Marcel. I never leave the files on the card for modifying. NXi is just for transfer from the card to the computer, and the card is emptied after the transfer.

I could just cut and paste from the card to a file on the computer, NXi is supposed to automate that process, even assigning a file number.

It used to work fine. Something happened and I don't know what.

They may have a new version out,could be worth checking,have you seen this.

I had the exact same problem in the past but while using Lightroom. I transferred a folder and afterwards discovered it skipped certain shots.

That you have it with NX makes me wonder if it isn't an OS problem instead.

I have the new ViewNXi and have not had any problem transferring files from my SD card to the computer. All have been going through fine. I don't transfer that many usually, but they have all been transferring. I know that is probably not much help.
