Light Meter & Trigger recommendations for Studio Strobes

Looking for some advice for a light meter & trigger system that would work in compatibility (wireless) with Elinchrom Strobes.

Choices are :
a) the Elinchrom skyport system - here
b) the pocket wizard system

I've heard that since PW & Sekonic are retailed by the same company, there is high level of compatibility between them.
But the skyport system apparently works better with these strobes, but not sure of compatibility with the skyport system.

Not sure about any business connections between Pocketwizard and Sekonic, but Sekonic does offer a PW module for some of their units.

Pocketwizard is rock solid. No experience with Skyport.

Thanks Joe.
Both Sekonic & Pocketwizards are distributed by MAC group..
so they have some kinda tie up right from the manufacturing process
