Hello,

I would like to know if you can recommend me an after market battery brand for a D600, hopefully it support temperatures between 15F (-9C) and 32F (0)

Thanks for your help,

I would also add that 3rd party batteries have been the subject of many posts and they all seem to have problems not found in Nikon batteries.

I would highly recommend getting Nikon brand batteries. I have several extra batteries for my D3100 and D5100 that aren't Nikon brand to use in my battery grips for those Nikon's, and the Nikon's don't like them and I sometimes have to put a Nikon brand battery in the grip with one of the other brand batteries to get the Nikon to except them.
I decided to get Nikon brand batteries for my d90 to save having this issue. Just Nikon brand batteries for me from now on in!

The only aftermarket battery I've found happiness with are the Wasabi batteries. I think they might actually be *better* than a Nikon branded battery. But, I certainly wouldn't disparage buying a legit, Nikon battery.

Let me see if I understand this.

You bought a D600 and you want to save $50.00 by using a knock-off battery.

Isn't this a lot like buying a Porsche 911 S and putting RECAPS on it?

I'm with the rest. I'd stick to a Nikon battery. They've been tried and true. There are plenty of cold weather photographers that use camera's in low temperatures, most likely with stock batteries.
