New Nikons on the way.

Well I'm very very happy with my old tech D300 and D700! Lol :p Seriously though, I'm surprised they are doing the D5xxx series upgrade again so soon! Of course the D3xxx series will likely follow suit too I imagine! Lol ;)

The new D7200 sounds interesting, if they give it some good upgrades over the D7100! Heck if they upgraded the frame to a more pro class frame, I think that would be awesome! But even if they did that and more, I still say I'm happy where I'm at! :D

The only thing they could do to the D7100 that would be of any interest to me would be to improve the low light performance.
All the other bells and whistles don't interest me at all.

D850 is gonna be a beast..I love my D810 too much to get tempted for the 45Megs and more focus points. Don't care about the 4k.. I love shooting at Iso
64.. The D850 looks like it might have a native Iso of 32..That's insane in a good way.

All I want, and I want it really, really badly, is three more stops of dynamic range and I don't care who does it first. Two stops would be great, while three stops would be enough to make seriously consider switching "teams" if required.

The very best thing about the D7200 is that D7100 are dropping to the point a lot of folks can jump right in and skip the 3xxx and 5xxx cameras.

Now looking at the current Nikon D500, put on a level of FX for the D850?
-47 Mpix, at an high standard ISO of 51200.
-the new separate AF module, with the more focus points
-a moving screen
-losing some frames per second due to larger sensor

Even if Nikon does not put in something really new, it will be a killer if it keeps the level of the D810 with adding the new technology released on other models. First DLSR to go through a 100 on DXO Mark?

Losing some fps more than the D810? That'd be sad.
No winning 1 fps to the D810, but losing from the D500, due to the data amount that must be handled. Maybe faster in crop mode? But I doubt it.

These two "features" would keep me in a D810. I just don't get the appeal for the moving screen .... this coming from my first DSLR being the D5300.

I have a tilt screen on the Sony A7s and I love it, I understand that I use it rarely and that I worry about it, but with low or hip shots I really love it.
