Working in the healthcare field you see some wondrous things but also some things that really tear at your heart. I had such a patient this evening, For reasons for which I am both professionally and legally bound I can say very little, but this particular patient is in her mid 40's and has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a very deadly form of cancer with a high mortality rate at her age. Chemotherapy has severely compromised her immune system at a time of year when people are often at most risk of getting sick. Her prognosis for 5 years from now is poor. I ask you to keep her in your prayers. God knows who she is, you don't need to know her name.
