Hey, I visited the Taj Mahal a few months ago. Even though it's been shot millions of times (literally), I grabbed my camera, and took the "standard Taj Mahal" photo. It looks really good - just like countless others, but I still printed it, and hung it on my wall, because I took it.

I was pretty much the first local sports photographer to switch to digital. When I became free from 36 exposure rolls of film, I could take riskier shots, and find unique perspectives. At first, my images got a lot of notice, because they presented views of events no one had ever shown before. Now, everybody else is in the same position, and whether they used my images as inspiration or not, their images tend to look like mine.
