Growing up in the backwoods of the hills (or was it the hills of the backwoods), we had to have a special dictionary so outsiders would know what we were saying. One of my favorite terms from that old dictionary was cauterize, which means "saw her look my way".
Thought it would be good if we better defined some terms for the modern photographer along the same ideological guidelines.
The first term for the dictionary:
Reciprocity Failure - When you like someone's photo and they don't like yours back.
