Rumor: Gotta love New Nikon products for 2014

Just in case you have not read the new post from Nikonrumor.com, more goodies for 2014 which can include a Nikon D4x and a new design for the Nikon 300mm f4 with VR.

I know most of the discussion is about the disappointment for not introducing the D400 or the replacement for the D300s for the sports and wildlife shooters.

The D4x however, is what intrigues me. Most of the reports that the Admin post do becomes a reality. I am waiting to be "wowed" by Nikon. :cool:

Rick - at this point, get the Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 for now. You can always upgrade later on in the future once it is released and available. It might be a while before we get that lens refreshed. I think that's the remaining arsenal that you need in your bag. ;)

I already have the 300mm f4 and I rarely use it due to it's FL being too long for portraits. Maybe this High School Football games coming up might allow me to use it for that purpose.

Rick is right and some of the schools, particularly the Naval Defense Academy which is similar to the U.S. Naval Academy have an American Football team with matching cheer leaders too. :D

The military base schools compete against other military base team amongst the Army, Air Force, Navy and sometimes even visit Okinawa, Guam and S. Korea.
