Do people still use Discover card?Where ever you buy it, buy it with a Discover card that will automatically double your original manufacturer's warranty for up to 1 yr. It will turn your 1 yr warranty into a 2 yr warranty w/o costing you a cent. You will need to keep all your documents and proof you used a Discover card. They will ask you to fill out a paper and submit your proof but it's not all that painful compared to paying to what it might cost if you didn't have the additional warranty.

Does this mean they are refurb'd by Nikon then?
I went to the Nikon site and looked at the refurbs but could not find any mention on warranty. Does anyone know what warranty they offer?
Are all bodies sent back to Nikon for refurbishing or are they done locally?

I use my card for nearly everything. Heck, I even pay my electric bill with it. Then I use the cash back to feed my Amazon addiction. Works like a charm!!
Just bought a D7000 refurb from Cameta and am very pleased with it. As everyone has suggested they have a years warranty and prices are reasonable.
