Canon upping the megapixel war?

To be honest I dont see the need over 24mp Okay the D800 has 36mp but thats for a professional usage but 50mp you mite as well fight with the Medium format cameras!!

Years ago, I read an article about a camera the government had.

​Supposedly, if the camera was set up in NY City, and an airplane dropped a golf ball over Chicago, you could read the brand name in the resulting photo.

We ain't seen nuttin' yet.

Is that due to a QuadZillion Mega Pixels or a lens that stretches from NYC to Cleveland? :confused:

We haven't seen it cause that's how they spy on everyone. Think of every tall building they don't allow you to go to the top floor of, that's why. ;)

Until computer technology makes a leap my D800 is more than enough. I often use my D300 when I don't need the pixels because the file size is so much smaller.
