Good grief! I did see a very limited edition (it was a Pentax Anniversary edition) 24K gold plated Pentax LX on Fleabay, complete with gold plated 50mm f/1.2 SMCP and "lizard skin" leather trim. I don't recall offhand what it finally went for but i am thinking it was pretty close to $10,000. Still an awful lot of money for a camera you would be afraid to take out of the house but a LONG WAYS off from a quarter million pounds!

Would they have to have sequential serial numbers or could you live with a few serial numbers apart?
