This has been an incredible example of the American justice system. It is a fascinating thing to watch. It may be the single most interesting "thing" I've ever watched on TV.

For those who have not been following this trial, you can catch every day of the trail on Utube.

Holy smokes, closing arguments taking place. It's been an incredibly interesting trial. If I had seen something like this back when I was 18 I think I would have changed my direction and studied law instead of the sciences.

If my wife was watching that all week I would be sleeping with a gun under my pillow in the spare bedroom...(not really lol)

It is like a modern day version of Lizzie Borden except she shot him after giving him 30 whacks with the butcher knife or something...the only time you see overkill like that is when???

So did she do it?

You know, if you can get over the media circus, this trail was a fascinating look at the machinations of our legal system and how it works. The dueling attorneys, the careful way they're forced to choose their words, seeing what a witness is allowed to say and what they're not allowed to say, all of it very interesting for people like me who has never been inside a court outside of divorce court.
So yes, it became a media circus and yes, I can see why some people would say it was a waste of time and who knows, maybe it was. But I will say I've learned a great deal about our American system of law and I don't regret it a bit.

Btw Roy, did your wife agree with the verdict or ?
