I went out to a local park yesterday with my new DC-FZ1000 II with the intention of getting some random wildlife images. When I arrived, the entrance I normally use was blocked by the local PD and I could see several ambulances beyond the gate on one of the playing fields. An officer told me that someone had a medical emergency and entry was blocked in anticipation of the arrival of a medivac helicopter. I got into the park at different entrance and shot these.
The camera was configured for AFC with AF-ON, back button focus assigned to the AF/AE Lock button, and Continuous H shooting mode...IOW, my typical setup for shooting moving wildlife. The images were developed from .RW2 RAW files using SilkyPix Developer Studio 8 SE.
