Looks like a pretty decent cam which could wake up the competition. Too bad the lens selection is small.
Yes, that's one of the reasons I "Disagreed" with your earlier post. It does seem like a nice cam though. Definitely worth checking out once it has been out there in the wild.

Pentax was first on the list before I got my D3300. It's because it was too niche that I decided against it and went Nikon. Still, if this one was available before I went FF, I might have switched.

There's no serious IQ test but when looking at the specs alone, it's a ridiculous low price compared to what Nikon asks. It's cheaper as what I paid for my D750 and "promises" the performance of my D810.

They do have the DFA lenses (full frame lenses), which will cover 15mm up to 450mm. Of course, you can also use the old K mount lenses from the film days. 7 DFA lenses may seem "small"; but in all honesty, how many lenses does one really need?

It's not the amount of lenses one needs that matter but the choice one can pick from. I rather have a couple of brands selling lenses.

Still, technically it should be possible to shoot all Nikon lenses on Pentax; opening up the whole range. All it takes is a decent adapter.

Give it time.

From what I read there are already adapters but one can only use lenses with an aperture ring. It's basically an extension tube which fits Nikon lenses at the front end. For manual lenses that would work well.

We're unlucky to have the least adaptable system.
