Hello all. My name is Dustin and I have enjoyed photography for well over 10 years now, and a Nikon user for the last 5. Has been mostly a hobby up until lately. I have done portraits for people here and there, but hope to pick up more business now that I am going to focus more on that. I started my own website and hope to build up a better portfolio. www.photographybyewers.com if anyone is interested. I could also use extra eyes to see if I need to change anything on there.

I currently shoot with a D40, and on rare occasions my N55. But I am in the market for a D80 as my main. Hope to pick up a few more tips and tricks while I'm here.

Hello Dustin, welcome to the site! Nice website, but I was wondering why when you click on an image nothing happens (it does not get larger)?

Welcome to Nikonites Dustin,

You've got nice shots in your website, keep up the good work and make sure to post your recent shots here too.

Enjoy your Nikon!

Dustin, welcome to Nikonites. I just went through your whole web site, and quite frankly, I see nothing at all wrong with the way it's set up. Very nicely done. Your shots all look great to me, too.....except for one. :) The one with the 4 guys and the lamp post. Visually, it's a great shot....except for that top right hand corner. Maybe should have been cropped out. Just my opinion, of course. :)

I sincerely hope your business takes off for you, as you seem to have a good grasp on what you want to accomplish with your photography.

I'm curious; you said you want a D80 as your main camera. I'm wondering why. I would have thought you would want to go for a D90 or a D200. Just wondering. :)

Hey Dustin, welcome and I also agree with everybody, nice shots. If I might make one small suggestion, the large white font you use I find difficult to read and distracting. I have done web design for many years and the first thing is readability and clarity. The upper case "A"'s look like "B"'s etc. Also, all caps is not good either, just a suggestion, my 2 cents.

Mainly want the D80 for the ability to use my older lenses with it and its budget friendly.

Thanks for the note on the font. I'll fiddle around with it.
