Just joined today! After having been a Pentax shooter for almost 25 years, I acquired a D600 to make the jump to full-frame and I'm loving it. I'm a landscape photographer with an occasional portrait/wedding shoot. I'm also a commercial pilot and aerial photographer as well. Looking forward to meeting and greeting!

Welcome Jeff! Where about in Minnesota? I am originally from Hugo Minnesota. Great place to be from. I miss all the lakes and the lush green landscapes but NOT the brutal winters.

Hi Tami...from southeastern Minnesota near Lake City. Go through Hugo all the time when we head to the North Shore. Winters can be brutal here, no doubt! But last year we really didn't have one! It only snowed TWICE!...unheard of! I think we will pay for that this year. ;)

Wow only twice? That has to be a record! I hope this doesnt mean you have double this wintet brrrrr. That is one thing I dont miss one bit. Now if I want to see snow we drive up in the mountains and leave it when we have had our fun :-D

Winters. Keeps the riff-raff out. :D

Since you have to be crazy to live here year round, that makes us all crazy. And since we are all crazy, we've figured out how to live with each other...it's just figuring out how to deal with all you normal people we have a problem with!

Lol!!! Does normal actually exist? Not so sure these days. Here in Arizona our brain may not freeze but it might be baked by the extreme summer heat:p
