Hey guys/gals.

I purchased my D3100 in december of 2010 as a x-mas gift to myself. My first DSLR. First real foray into the world of photography. My bro-in-law got me interested in this. It is just a hobby, not looking to make any money. But won't say no either...

Looking forward to learning a lot about our cameras and photography in general.

Hello Rocky...the 3100 is a nice rig...I reentered photography because of my bro in law too..bought an old camera to take pictures at his wedding and been shooting like crazy ever since.
