Hello, folks ... just wanted to say thanks for having a great site for Nikon lovers.
I'm not new to photography, but have been away from it for far too long. I'm new to DSLR's and amazed by what they can do. Just bought the Nikon D5100 w/ 18-105 mm VR and 70-300MM IF lenses and a amazed by the shots I have already taken.
Here I hope to learn how to use my new gear to its full potential and venture away from all of the auto and preprogrammed features. I'm looking forward to beaing educated by other Nikon lovers.

Take lots of shots, play with it, try things.....if you don't like what you see on the screen....delete!
