Hello from an Irishman in France

Hello,

I treated myself to a D5100 last week to celebrate my son's 1st birthday.
I stumbled upon this site while I was deciding which camera to buy and have been lurking in the shadows ever since.

This appears to be a very nice place to be, and so I will be pestering you all with questions (and contributing my opinions where appropraite) in the coming days, weeks, months....

Fortunately they have Guinness over here, so my hoisting arm still gets some practice in.

Of course Guinness isn't as nice outside Ireland, but sure 'tis the way of things.
