Just wanted to say hi! been shooting wildlife for around 30 years. started when i was 16 and got a picture of a lion kill published in the UK by The Times. That got me hooked!! studied photography 4 years, based in Canada now. Been running a Photo Safari business for a number of years, specialize in East Africa (Mara/Serengeti) won a bunch of awards which i wont bore you all with. shot stock for NG, Getti, etc

Shoot Nikon mostly, sometimes Hasselblad gives me some gear to play with, also have some canon gear (for guests).

Glad you be here and chat to you!

Welcome.

I have the impression Hasselblad is fantastic, but for wildlife it seems very unpractical.

It used to be the benefits of dynamic range and resolution outweighed the drawbacks, Ive got quite a collection of medium format safari images and the quality is exceptional. Now days the difference is not so noticeable, I d0 a fair bit of landscape and portrait work on safari though so it has a place there.
