Even something as seeming innocuous as a Ladybug Larva...................

...........can seem like a prehistoric monster from a horror movie at 3.8:1!

I used the D850 with the PB-6 bellows and 55mm f/2.8 AIS Micro Nikkor and 265mm of bellows extension. Illumination was a single strobe in a Softbox directly overhead.

It took 17 images to focus stack this in PS.

Great image. It could definitely serve as a monster in a horror movie.
