Cathedral Caverns

Did a final walk through of the cave I am going to be shooting a wedding in this October. Did a few long exposure Low ISO shots just for fun since this is the first time I have carried a tripod in with me. I also took a photo of the young lady that was my guide today using fill flash and maintaining the look of the cave which is what the client wants.

Here is a nice video of the cave. looks like it's not that far from me. If you're going to shoot this on a weekend, I'll be happy to assist as a second shooter.

Shot in there a few times now and am pretty pleased. Long exposures look fantastic and the photos with flash fill are not bad but the ISO has to be at ISO3200. With the D750 that is not to bad. I have never tried it but I am wondering how or can I shoot a longer exposure with flash so I can lower the ISO and still balance the flash with the Background. 2 or 3 second exposure with flash enough to light the people correctly and no get movement on the people. Or am I just asking for problems even trying this?

I have never tried anything like this with flash before and am not sure if it is even possible.

Don, how is the interior lit (the photos without flash)? Is that natural light, or are there small hidden lights installed inside the cave?

Maybe @WayneF can give you some pointers.
