Well in my opinion the crop is determined by what the subject of the photo is. When I looked at that photo what I was drawn to, aesthetically, was the skyline of the city and the colorful sky, hence my particular crop. It was just a suggestion, of course. But this is *your* photograph so, the question becomes, what is your subject? Was it the people on the bridge, the streetlight, the building? Once you know what you want to communicate in your shot, you crop in a fashion that empowers the subject.
