I have to say I dont have that much urban decay here. Will have to go to other towns. Corning wouldnt let things decay. They would take them down as soon as they could.

There was a weekly challenge "Abandoned" a few months ago. I submitted one picture there, here are two more of the same building:

Some great shots here and I think it must be a photographers thing as all the photographers I know including myself love old deserted buildings, they have that aura about them and for me I think what I could shoot in them - model / still life / abstract etc........food for thought places of interest.

My township put in this paved walkway/biking path and fence 10 years ago. It didn't take long for people to vandalize the fence. The township repaired it at least once, but there isn't any point in continuing to put money into it.

This shot is from Beelitz, a former Sanatorium south of Berlin, Germany, that was once used by the Nazis and later by Soviet troops stationed in East Germany. Largely in decay, the place is occasionally used for movie shots.
