This is the best I can do without an actual telescope. D500, 600mm f/4 ED-IF AIS Nikkor and TC-300 2x. Total magnification, including crop factor, is 36x. It took 3 exposures, composited. Jupiter, its moons and Saturn had considerably different luminance's.
While I was out there, there was a terrific waning gibbous moon. The above set up is perfect for shooting the moon, this image is essentially uncropped.
