Just my two cents, feel free to disregard. My opinion is worth what you paid for it. I'll be blunt, because I think sugarcoating is disingenuous, and prevents honest discourse.

The first thing that strikes me is the processing. I don't feel it is quite there yet. I get a kind of HDR-looky-feel from some of these, which screams "fake" to me. You shot in stark sunlight and it looks like you tried to lower the contrast in processing by taming the highlights and lifting the shadows. Or perhaps you had ADL set to high or extra high on camera if you shot JPEG. Too much for my liking, in any case. The end result is too flat and two-dimensional.

Images 4 and 5 are processed (or exposed) way too dark. Highlights on a white fabric in direct sunlight should be blindingly bright white, here they are middle gray, so these two images look like they have been underexposed by 3 stops. The difference compared to the others in the series is conspicuos. Finally, you might want to consider cropping some of the images a bit tighter to concentrate on the main actors.

If you shot raw, you should be able to reprocess them with ease.

The colorful costumes and comical characters offer a lot of photo opportunities and by the look of it the demonstration was peaceful. Interesting set, thanks for posting.

And as I said, if you disagree with my comments about the processing, yes then you are right and I am wrong. Your images, your rules.

Thanks for your comments pforsell, all of the shots were raw and were not hdr, I was shooting directly in front of the sun with the parade coming towards me, I had done some cropping but I feel that with the crowd in the photos as well gives them some sort of energy/ life if you know what I mean. I had done some processing but they were nothing special just some images to show what a great day it was and just to share .
