This is an old Iron Age hill fort with commanding views of the area, I visited yesterday despite it being a dull and overcast day.
It was really windy due to it being the highest feature around but the fresh bracing air was wonderful (if not a little chilly) and the 24mm on the DF did a good job of capturing the old features and rich grass.
We are very lucky to have Avebury stones, Stonehenge and old forts such as this one all within a 50mile radius as well as plenty of old Norman Churches so steeped in history here in the SW of England.
I also have to say that I am really enjoying shooting with the DF, it tends to make me slow down and consider my images more yet compliments the D500 sports / wildlife kit very well.
