The Mop

The Cirencester MOP is one of the oldest in the county dating back to the 12th Century.

The Mop Fair takes its name from the original purpose that was to act as a hiring event where servants carried the tools of their trade to show they were available for work.

The fair has transitioned into a fun fair for all the family to enjoy and I walked into town this evening to grab a few photos at the fair.

Not large but enough to entertain and offer some photo opportunities.

You did well with those shutter speeds.
