    Question F(N) 75 lens on a D90

I have a F(N) camera with a 28-80 lens. Will this be OK to use on my D90? Also, the grip on the F75 has gone very tacky, is there a way of restoring it?

    Thanks in anticipation

    Brian

What is the nomenclature on the 28-80mm lens? This link https://www.nikonians.org/reviews/ni...-compatibility may also help you.

That lenses will work fine with the D90...

As far as the grip being sticky... You can try cleaning the gooey stuff using a rag saturated with Denatured Alcohol... be careful with the alcohol. It's a solvent used to remove glue and ink in many environments and will remove the painted markings on the N75's plastic body... If you have an over-whelming sentimental attachment to that N75 you can send it out to some professional shops and have the rubber replaced... although the cost would probably exceed the value of the body in today's markets...

Thanks all, will try some of that alcohol stuff and have a scan through that lens compatibility list.
