It doesn't have a focus motor, but my D90 always worked with lenses lacking the motors. Although lacking the focus motor, it's one less thing that won't break since it doesn't have one.
On a DX body, your field of view will be about 50mm-150mm. An advantage is that at the tele- end, your widest aperture will be f/4.5 which is pretty decent especially for the price!
BUT when checking the price of sold listings on ebay, it's a tad high. Keh.com has a similar lens for $99. What I question is Keh lists the lens as a macro so not sure if Keh's lens is exactly the same.

Adorama is an excellent company to deal with so you shouldn't have any problems. Factor in any shipping costs and see if one winds up being a better price than the other. And maybe call Adorama to find out if their lens offers macro. It wouldn't be a true 1:1 macro, but if it allows macro, it would be fun to play with.
