This is an industrial type lens. It does not have a Nikon F mount, you will have to make one to fit. It has non-standard 48mm internal and 53mm external threads. It has no focusing ring. It has an f/stop range of f/1.0 to f/8. Focusing can only be achieved by changing the depth of field with the f/stop setting. The asking price is $3200. I think I will pass on this one. Lol...Jdeg, this one will work just fine with your D5000. The lens can't be focused any way so the lack of a built in focus drive won't matter.

Wow, cool photo, tho for macro/micro, usually it's more DOF I need, not less.

Does this thing attach perhaps with a bellows?

And, how about those T mounts? How do they attach?

Me, I think I prefer the ease of something like the 85mm F3.5 DX AF Micro Nikkor (see review here: Nikon 85mm f/3.5G AF-S DX ED VR Micro Nikkor Lens Review | Glamour Photography . CO ) or one of the other fine Nikon AF Micro Nikkors.

Truth be told, shooting macro, statically on tripods, I often manually focus to get just the focus point and in focus area I prefer.
