(EXIF data will read 600mm as the TC does not adjust the focal length. But this will be, in reality, 840mm. And with the D7100's crop factor, that an equivalent 1260mm FOV.)


FYI: My Nikkor TC is shaved, allowing it to be used on this lens.

Can I ask what is this Tamzooka? I'm looking at getting a stronger telephoto so interested in what you have and what you think of it

Tamron 150-600.

You'll have to try that combo on a Moon shot!

Not a very sharp shot... the moon is still low in the sky and there's a lot of humidity.

That's what I thought. I'm impressed with the moon shots. Did a ring around today and none available yet in my local area. Might have to wait a few more weeks Have basically decided it is the best telephoto I will ever be able to afford

Can you do me a moon shot WITHOUT the TC please? so I can see how it is as a stand alone
