M42 'Err' help

Evening all,
So I ordered a M42 adaptor for my D800 so I could play with some of my old M42 stuff.
I got this one: JJC Professional Camera and Photo Accessories Manufacturer remote shutter release lens hood remote control flash diffuser

This afternoon I grabbed an old F3.5 135mm M42 Russian lens and stuck on the adaptor.
I set the non-CPU lens info to the correct settings and the camera to MF.

But on taking a shot, the display displays a flashing 'ERR'
It seems to take the photo ok; but this error message is a bit concerning.

Any ideas?

Dont think its a case of no one likes you think it may be no one else has tried that combination,did it work ok

If I remember rightly I think I read somewhere that with some of the older lenses and something to do with the new image processing on cameras that they don't always show on the camera. Are they saving on the card and showing ok on computer??
