You're welcome. Since I haven't had my D500 for very long and paid for the XDQ card and reader, I'm going to hold off on the firmware update for the CF card.

On a side note, just the other day I read where Nikon is planning on coming out with 2 new DSLR bodies. Unfortunately I can't remember which ones they mentioned although they only knew of the one specific model being updated. But with this firmware, their commitment to develop mirrorless bodies, and hopefully a couple of new DSLR bodies, Nikon seems to be making an effort to increase sales - which is good news.

With the recent discount on D850s, I'm assuming that one of the new DSLRs will be a D850 replacement. If so, I'll look into one, or more likely, look to get a D850 at a discounted price. I didn't get a D850 when they were on sale for $2499 because I need to pay off a few other things first, but that should be taken care of by the time Nikon releases a new DSLR. Then again, maybe I'll save my money since I'm not shooting much these days.

Do you have any thoughts on what the new Nikon DSLRs might be?

Honestly I can't remember but wish I had bookmarked the article. I think it was something linked through Facebook to a website. I will keep looking for it.
