Re: No “support” section on Nikon USA website.

This seems to be an issue with my Ipad. The far right on my screen is “NPS”, on my desktop the whole top line shows up including “support”.
a new bug on my laptop. However, the”Manual viewer” app is no longer supported.

You don't need the "viewer" anymore. Just open the manual's PDF on your iDevice and it opens natively... I just downloaded my D810 Manual to the Desktop on my Mac. It shows up in my Files Folder on both my iPhones and iPads, and opens beautifully...

Again, Thanks... for helping me to utilize these resources... What else don't you like? You're making my day finding useful stuff I haven't bothered with before...

A 140-page manual in English accompanied the Z50 I received yesterday, along with the same-sized Spanish-language version.

How many are ever looked at? Electronics should come with a quick start guide and a post card or web site link so one can can obtain printed one, free of charge. My printed manual is still in the box. As long a a PDF version is available I'm fine.

The “Manual viewer” just adds a lot of useful tool, e.g. bookmarks and rapid access to various parts of the manual, but as of 8/20/ it was discontinued.

Looking at the bodies listed in your profile, both the D5600 and D3300 should have come with manuals if they are USA bodies and if you bought them new. Depending upon where you purchased the camera, if you bought it new, a few stores will split up what's in the box and sell some items separately. But all the new bodies I purchased have manuals. Refurbished bodies don't come with manuals.

Neither came with a full manual, both were new US models, they came with a very brief over view, which was only a few pages in length, not a full manual by any means

Unboxing of a Nikon D3300 shows a user manual at 1:42 in the video.

The unboxing of the D5600 shows a smaller user manual at 0:56. Although this one looks small, it is clearly labeled as a User's Manual.
