Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes opinions

I bought a package of 50 at Wallyworld for $2.97. They're premoistened (alcohol) and seem to do an excellent cleaning job. I've read that alcohol can leave a haze invisible to the human eye so I follow the cleaning job by light buffing with a microfiber cloth. As someone who appreciates convenience such as not carrying a container of cleaning solution in my pocket or going through microfiber cloths because I hesitate transferring old crap onto lens surfaces, I like them.

Any downside?

I have been using those for years now.

I go to LensCrafters,, must be in just about every mall, and buy a large box of their lens cleaning tissue, looks like a box of Kleenix, and then a large bottle of their lens spray, and together, they make a high quality, fairly lost cost lens kit. when I travel, I put some of the tissue in a plastic bag, along with the smaller travel spray bottle they sell.

I have been using those for years now.

Wish I had discovered them long ago. Very effective and convenient. I looked around and that WalMart price is about as good as it gets, even versus buying them 1200 at a time.

I cut up microfiber clothes into 4x4 squares, get them damp with lens cleaner and carry in a small zip-lock bag.
