Message: <blockquote data-quote="TwistedThrottle" data-source="post: 785557" data-attributes="member: 46724"><p>I use the silent mode at my daughters volleyball games and when I don't want to draw attention, (which is most of the time).  It also works great at minimizing shutter shake on long exposures.  Keep in mind that a flash wont fire in silent mode and it's got to be set to 5 fps or slower.  At least that's how it works on the Z6, not sure if that carries through to the Z6ii.  I wont lie, there's been several times that I'm using silent mode and extended high shutter mode thinking the camera isn't taking any pictures only to look at the playback and seeing 30 of the same shot!  It's nearly inaudible.  Not like the "quiet" mode in DSLR's, which is just silly and not at all quiet.</p></blockquote><p></p>
