So, to improve my interior low light capabilities I recently purchased a 35mm f/1.8 from Best Buy. I've spent a lot of time with it in the past few days, and I'm pretty impressed with it's capabilities. In low light, I rarely need to go above 800 ISO. It needs to be pretty damn dark before I need to go above 1600. It's also a great city photography lens. I've been having fun wandering the alleys in my city and it's a good length to capture what I'm looking for. Unedited, the CAs are definitely noticeable, but I just fix that in Lightroom and I'm happy with it. I also got a BlackRapid Sport that I am loving. I should have had a strap like this a long time ago. The padding and build quality are fantastic. I love how it keeps the camera out of the way but nicely accessible. It's very comfortable. Anyway, back to the photos! March 4 A good friend runs the little cafe in the public library, and her baby boy is just adorable. He's very photogenic and very happy.
