Guess you need to be somebody around here to even have your Project 365 topic even responded to. >_> Being pushed to the bottom of the page without a single reply, great.

Thanks everyone.

Don't feel bad and don't take it personally. It's happened to all of us at one time or another. I've even had mine end up on page 2 without a comment or "like."

When you see the number of members & the number of daily threads, it is quite obvious that it would take time for people to go through your thread as well.
keep posting, it makes your thread more visible..
I personally go through the threads once in a few days, especially in the weekends as that's about the time i have some time...

Come on sport, it matters that you shoot, whether people see it, appreciate it or not is secondary and tertiary.
YOU should enjoy your pics more than anyone... :)
Good luck!

Things can go to page two in a very short time some days when a lot of people are active. That and some people may be wary of demons. I know I have enough demons of my own to deal with. Also like Whitelight said, there are so many people on that sometimes we don't have time to respond to everyone. I know I have certain people I follow more than others because I enjoy their style of photography. Good photography, stories about your photography and personal experiences will get you noticed in time. Work hard at it and respond to other peoples photography in a positive manner. The more active you are the more people will notice you.

I'm just in a bad mood these days tbh. Can't trust anyone these days. And as I posted I just wanted some advice as to how people would make THAT picture better cause I took a bunch that night that also use the sunset in teh background so I don't wanna make the same editing mistakes on those (if any.)

Well since you asked... I really don't think that picture could be made any better. It was to high contrast so no detail in the shadows or sky. I was not at the scene so I am not sure what the scene was like or what settings you used. Did you shoot in RAW? If so and you have PhotoShop you might could bring out so shadow detail and at the same time darken the sky. Again it all depends on how you shot it. Do your best and ask for help and people will help you. But you need to put up more than one photo so we can see a pattern. I personally think that there is nothing you can do for that shot as it stands.

also consider posting to some dedicated photo critique sites for additional feedback on photos. but you can't have thin skin sometimes, people will call out the flaws as they exist.

I used to go through all the 365's and just don't have enough time anymore, including posting to my own. As mentioned, try the critique or feedback threads.

It may also help to respond to other peoples 365's also, I always tried to do that when I was active with my 365. People tend to return the favor if you will. Keep shooting and posting, you'll be discovered :)

Don't sweat it. I usually get well over a hundred "Nikonites" emails each day with responses to threads upon which I have previously posted. Nikonites gets A LOT of traffic per day it is not at all unusual to not get any replies to your threads. Just keep posting!

I'm sure everyone has had threads or blogs or photographs not responded to at one time or another (myself included). The main thing is that you communicate about what interests you the most. Even if nothing comes to mind by way of immediate response, you would probably be surprised how many people read it. And if there are no responses, then fine and just go onto the next topic. And happy blogging! :)
