Like I said I am using woo themes sentient, my client wants a hit counter on home page and I can't figure that out, tried a couple as widget and plugin and no joy, Also I want a full width slider slideshow above the products on the home page and finally there are lines under the text (looks like old notebook paper) like on the "About" page that my client doesn't like and I have been trying to find out if they can be removed. Site URL is HERE

I have built several hundred web sites and this was my first wordpress site due to the ecommerce and shopping cart stuff.

I really appreciate any help I can get.

I've got Wordpress and recently started working with WooCommerce (to test). I would think a hit counter might be more of a Wordpress plugin and not dependent on WooCommerce...

This counter plug-in mentions woocommerce. https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-views-count/

I would think the lines on the about page would be related to the page template and may have a toggle switch in the theme options somewhere. Some themes are very user friendly and easy to navigate thru the options and other you have to dig around. If no on/off for the lines, you might be able to edit the theme and make them go away.

Wow, Success! I have a the counter you suggested working, funny thing it is working on the pages I created, About, Contact, Shipping, and it is working on the individual product pages. It does not work on the category pages nor the home page which is all part of the woo themes template.

It is demonstrating to me that my problems have a lot to do with the template and the way it generates pages. When I am in the admin area pages like "Home" do not show up thus my problems with counters and sliders. I need to find out how to access those pages.

I am almost wishing I had created all the pages, at least I would have access to them.

Thanks Eyelight for the counter help, my client is happy she can see what items are being viewed.
