The remote and the base seem to be communicating alright, but when I try to release the shutter (with the remote or using the button on the base) my camera's screen darkens like it's going to take a picture but never does. &nbsp;I've been researching about what could be the problem, and so far I've tried&nbsp;- New batteries/disconnecting and reconnecting everything- Making sure the remote codes are switched to the same position, and that cables are properly connected- Changing out of AF-S and changing into other modes (namely AF-C)- Trying every combination of camera shooting modes and remote modes together- Turning off AND on back button shootingI'm truly stumped. Does anyone have any other suggestions to try (or if this is 100% busted, any other remotes to get instead)? Thank you all in advance!</blockquote>
