My first weekend with 8 was horrendous until I updated. Windows popping up right, left and centre. For anyone who has inadvertently opened a Windows app, especially on a laptop, and finds it keeps opening every time you move the cursor, you need to move to the top left hand corner, return to the desktop and then right-click on the small app window and click on "close". I'd still love to know what idiot decided to install the "return to desktop" just below the "scroll bar down arrow" on the right hand side. It's a total nightmare when scrolling quickly through several pages.</blockquote>
