Control Panel, User Accounts. Simply change your password to be no password (for new password, enter only a Return key there). Then the password will go away.

My Win7 doesn't have the user icon to select, it simply boots up to the desktop, ready to go. Possibly because I only have one "account", as administrator?

Try this, its been a long time, but I THINK this is what I did to skip the click:
How To Automatically Login To Windows 7 (Skip Login Screen)

edit: you might also need to check under power options too if you are troubled by this after the computer sleeps from inactivity. Click the power icon on the lower right tray, then More Power Option, then look for the settings for 'require password on wakup'
