Z30 bodies don't show in the discussion here as often as a Z50 or better.What I can share is that the specifications all indicate it should work. But the wildcard here is 3rd party lens from 15 years ago or more.  I tried to use a Tamron 90mm F-mount (the most current 070 version) on my Z5 with FTZ-II adapter and discovered it did not work right at all. Autofocus and other errors. I googled after the fact to find notice from Tamron that there is an issue with using on a Z-mount Nikon and it would have required a replacement of a circuit board.  So I had to continue using that lens on my older D750 until I finally replaced it with a Nikon Z 105mm macro lens.So the only way to find out is to test it.</blockquote>
