I have a standard Eye-Fi card and it worked great for me while I was using it. You need to have it connect to a "Wireless Network" in order for it to work. Seeing how most everyone these days has a wireless network in their home after setting it up it does what it says. Upload speeds are not the fastest but by far not dog slow. This will depend on what kind of computer you have it configured to. My card loads faster on my desktop than it does my laptop, go figure the desktop is more of a machine than the laptop I found the card useful when shooting any kind of studio shot be it portrait or tabletop macro. It was helpful to see an image on my laptop shortly after shooting something vers the camera screen because of the size of the laptop screen. Another advantage to the Eye-Fi card is you can go out and shoot up a bunch of photo's and when you come back in range of your network the card will automatically download your photos to the computer it is configured to. No hooking up cables or removing your card to download images. I stopped using my Eye-Fi card when I started shooting RAW only. My card does not support RAW files. The only card that does is the Pro X2, which is the one your looking at. When I started to shoot RAW only I could not justify spending a 100 dollars on a card just so I could see the images on my laptop when all I had to do is tether my D90 to my laptop through Lightroom and get the same results. Depending how you want to use your card for uploading or viewing I would say for $35 it's a buy provided it is the Pro X2 and you shoot RAW. If it's not the Pro X2 you can buy the standard card that I have for that price. Off of Ebay buyer beware especially this time of year.
