swoosh,, 51 days flies by, a total whirlwind of photo shoots,, travel, hotels, and more hotels. along with a photo art show and taught an
all day seminar.

thousands of pictures of later, it is now nearing December, and soon snow and Ice will be upon some of us that live in colder climate.

The Nikon DF did great in Europe, even with the fairly low pixel count. I am sooo looking forward to the 45 million mirrorless coming
up. A friend did bring the new 850 to the class, a totally wonderful package, and I would love to swap out my 800 for an 850 in a few
years., but I will figure 700 or so for my 800, and 1600 for the 850, so,, when I can get the delta down to say 900 dollars, I'll get an
used 850. I like the idea of having around the king of the hill standard SLR along with my mirrorless. and no, I will never sell the
DF, I like it that much, it is a great classic. A freak in the Nikon lineup.

In SF, I shot with my Sony A7 for light weight walk about, but used the Nikkor 70-200 F4 on the auto adapter that allows me to
change my aperature and speed via the camera, along with focus peaking in red (love that effect), so I could get spot on focusing, In
a lot of ways, this was a preview to my future mirrorless Nikon (pleasseeeee Nikon hurry up!),

I'll still keep my other gear brands, each have their niches.

so,,, let's see, here is a picture from my trip...

St Michael in France toward end of day, when the sky became dramatic enough to match the scene.

well, some super Black Friday sales out there! enjoy

and by the way, I think that has plenty of detail from my DF,
