looks like I am on a monthly run cycles for my blogs now,, and yes I have been busy,, taking 1000's of photos during this last month I have added the Sony A7 now to my kits, so now, I have the Nikon P7000 for my point and shoot, a D200 for my toss in car camera and leave, A D800 for the heavy duty shooting when I want deep bracketing and a better use of my full Nikkor lens, and the Nex7 for the running around camera, and the full frame A7 for the everyday shooting camera. Why so many cameras, well because like lens, there is no Perfect camera, each camera having a use. I still don't have the ultra high quality point and shoot, the Nikon P7000 is good, but too slow, and still a bit bulky, not much smaller then my Nex7, I really want that pocket camera with pro features, might have to go to Fuji. Ironically, Sony is getting rid of the A7, and going with the image stabilization in the camera, making it fatter, and heavier, kinda defeating what I love about the A7. Its funny, I started to shoot again with my Nikon F3 (black white film), and I am again in love with the smallness and quality of the F3, wow, side by side, the A7 and Nikon F3 are very similar. The A7 is way closer to the F3 then say my 800. in the end, it is about having a camera with you,, and having the frame of mind of looking for photos. It really is a programming of the mind where you never ever really turn off from looking for that shot, and perhaps that is why I love photography, it keeps your mind engaged in the world .. well, nobody EVER comments on my posts, so ,, they must be all crap. but what the hay once I start something, I keep doing , maybe someday the crap will be work reading. or commenting on. If you shoot bracketed,, Continuous High speed, one does not need a tripod anymore for this type of HDR shot. taken with my D800 (yes yes, I still shoot with my Nikon D800, I am not a TOTAL convert to mirrorless).
