Been a busy period, shooting thousands of photos since the last blog, I have continued to move to the right camera for the right occasion, adding a 20 mm prime to the Nex7 for the ultra running and also super tuck in cargo pants pocket camera. Also the perfect camera when out on the town. The city camera and hiking camera has shifted to the A7,, awesome images, and perfect match up for my Nikkor 15mm wide, a super lens if you keep an eye out for flare, here is an example shot and then the D800 for times I want to use the Sigma 150-600 and other Nikon AF lens, or tripod work, I would soooooooo love for Nikon to come out with a Mirrorless full frame, with !!! worm drive for my older AF lens, will it ever happen,, I just don't know, would I buy one if they came out with one! dam right I will, While I like the Sony,, I really miss the convenience of the native lens mode! I won't hold my breath though. so,,, do I like the electronic view finder, well YES,, seeing the exact image as I snap, means no more chimping!,, no point, I know as I take exactly how the image is going to look,, including any clipping! and I don't even register anymore that it is not thru the glass. This was the major holdout I had against electronic viewfinders, but that has evaporated. ok,, FIRST day of summer!!! get out and shoot, with whatever camera you have, no camera means no picture.
