I will this week package up that broken 5100,, with its failed Shutter. It only lasted like 4 months. I think it is a sign of the times,, as more and more stuff is moved to the cheapest
place to make something..
What upper management does not realize is the pride that a work force who is invested in a product feels, I bet if you walked the factory where the D800/D3 are built,, you could
feel the pride, versus the crammed low paid factories in China or elsewhere.
I do like the camera,, but not as much as the 7000 series,, its a bit too small,
