I was going thru my Aunts' paintings, and then located a stack of photos,, that she took and based
her paintings on,,
some were good photos,, some awful,, but for an Artist not really a concern,, more about keeping
the view in front of you..
kinda got me interested in what % of paintings are done off photos,, and are photos the source
for most landscapes and cityscape paintings?
also interesting to see the process from photo to painting,, some stay close, and some stray
far,, the liberty of the painter.
